Muscat Governorate is the capital city of Oman and the seat of government. The city lies on the Arabian Sea and near to strategic Straits of Hormuz. Muscat is located in the northeast of Oman, Al Sharqiyah borders the city to the east while Albatinah region from the west, also Ad Dakhliyah region from the South part.
